Abstract
BACKGROUND This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the prognostic roles of distant metastatic patterns in de novo metastatic triple-negative breast cancer to explore the roles of surgery on the primary tumor and to characterize the prognostic factors of organ-specific metastasis. MATERIAL AND METHODS Data were obtained from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program. Kaplan-Meier analyses and log-rank tests were employed to compare survival outcomes among variables. The Cox proportional hazards model was used to assess risk factors for survival. The…

Abstract
Gynecologic cancers impact women of all ages. Some women may wish to preserve their capacity for future childbearing. With appropriate patient selection, acceptable oncologic outcomes may be achieved with preservation of fertility. Determination of eligibility for fertility preservation is guided by patient factors, tumor histology, and preoperative local staging with pelvic MR imaging. The aim of this article is to educate radiologists on the current guidelines for fertility-sparing techniques in women with early stage cervical, endometrial, and ovarian malignancies.

Conclusions18 candidate mutations might alter the risk of lung cancer in the Han Chinese population, including polymorphisms rs3864017(FANCD2), rs55740729(MSH6) and 16 rare variants. The underlying mechanisms of candidate genes in lung cancer remain unclear and we suggest more functional studies on exploring how these genes affect the risk of lung cancer.

ConclusionsWe provide the first evidence of the involvement of LINC00886 in laryngeal carcinoma, which was downregulated due to methylation of the promoter region and served as tumor suppressor genes. LINC00886 is expected to become a novel biomarker in laryngeal carcinoma.

In this study we analyzed these tumor markers in order to identify breast cancer cutaneous metastatic profiles. A cohort of 26 primary tumors from breast cancer patients with cutaneous metastases were included; also, cutaneous and lymphatic node metastatic samples and primary tumors from breast cancer patients without metastases were analysed. Immunohistochemical (IHC) studies demonstrated that both underglycosylated MUC1 (uMUC1) and sialyl Lewis x (sLex) to be positively associated with cutaneous metastatic primary tumors (p 200 kDa was also the site for binding of anti-sLex MAb; in coincidence, a high corre…

ConclusionsAIM2 inflammasome in hepatocytes has a significant effect on the development of Mtx-induced liver injury, which can be ameliorated by both XCHD and MgIG treatment. The latent mechanism and potential signal pathway require further study.

In conclusion, we provide the first evidence to support that BICD1 functions as a predictor for the prognosis of HCC and may serve as a promising therapeutic target for further HCC treatment.

In conclusion, our findings demonstrated that miR-145-5p could act as a tumor suppressor in CRC by targeting CDCA3, and serve as a diagnostic and therapeutic biomarker of CRC.
