Air Assault Troops’ response to the interview

The Air Assault Forces say that the losses announced by the battalion commander of the 46th separate airmobile brigade with the call sign “Kupol” are overstated.

In a comment to UP, the spokesperson for the Air Assault Forces, Valentyn Shevchenko, said that Kupol had violated several guidelines for public communication and the compilation of information constituting a state secret.

In particular, the information about casualties during the fighting, which “Kupol” voiced in an interview with The Washington Post, has a restricted access status. Shevchenko also said that the officer announced the “significantly overstated” statistics on casualties.

Replacement of Russian nuclear fuel

Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that Ukraine has switched its nuclear power units from Russian nuclear fuel to nuclear fuel from the American manufacturer Westinghouse.

The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland, and Bulgaria have also expressed a desire to make this transition. In the future, Ukraine may become a supplier of nuclear fuel to these countries.

Ukraine has already begun production of components for VVER-1000 fuel units, and will soon begin production of fuel for VVER-440 units.

Military trucks from Belgium

Belgium will provide Ukraine with 240 Volvo military trucks, the first of which will be delivered next week.

These are Volvo trucks of the Cargo, Shelter, Fassi, and Manumat models. Some of them are equipped with cranes. The trucks have been used by the Belgian military since the early 1990s.
